Serving All
FIND US
Conveniently located along Kailua Road, church goers will find an abundance of parking and a spectacular outdoor space filled with tropical landscaping and mature monkey pod trees.
Adult GROUPS
Our Small Groups provide an opportunity to build friendships and share life together. We eat, laugh, explore God’s word, and encourage each other to grow as followers of Jesus in our everyday lives.
WORSHIP
Our worship services are a mix of contemporary and traditional. We also incorporate touches of our Hawaiian surrounding such as the blowing of the pu shell to start each service, and even hula!
OUTREACH
There are a number of ways you can be involved with our outreach opportunities. We help those on the brink of being homeless, and host blood drives, monthly movie nights & beach cleanups.
Children's Programs
At KUMC, kids are invited to walk, run, jump and grow their Christian faith. We offer weekly Sunday School lessons, Youth Groups, and nursery care for infants and toddlers.
Global Missions
We have involvement with several global missions including building fresh water wells in Nicaragua, Ethiopia, and in Malawi, Africa. We also support the UMC’s ministires in Cambodia.

Have Questions?
What is a typical service like?
Our worship services are a mixture of contemporary and traditional. You’ll hear hymns accompanied by the organ, but also enjoy contemporary songs from our Praise Team. Most services last around 60 minutes, and following worship, everyone is invited to stick around for fresh ground coffee and snacks on the lanai.
What do you offer for my children?
Sundays are filled with an array of activities for your youth. Those in grades preschool through 5th grade can take part in weekly Sunday School classes on our lower campus, while those in grades 6-12 are invited to join our Youth Group, held every other Sunday evening at KUMC. Many of our older youth are also acolytes, or enjoy taking part in our dance or music ministries.
Infants and toddlers can nap or play in our staffed nursery, located within the sanctuary. Parents are welcome to check in on them, or even stay awhile as we live stream the service into the nursery itself.
Following each church service, you’ll see kids of all ages running and playing throughout our front lawn while parents and adults gather for coffee and get to know each other.
What times are your services?
We have one service every week, starting at 9:30 am on Sundays. If it’s your first day visiting, we suggest trying to arrive 10-15 minutes early. We encourage you to stop by our Welcome table, and if you have children, we can help get them checked into Sunday School or our nursery for infants and toddlers.
Where are you located?
Our address is 1110 Kailua Road, conveniently located just outside Kailua Town on the island of Oahu.
You’ll find plenty of free parking and will be greeted by lush, green monkey pod and mango trees as you make your way to the church itself. Guests are welcome to park anywhere they wish, with handicapped parking also available closest to the church building.
